The house was originally built in the 1950's as a small concrete block cabin. The house was expanded in the 1970's and an upper floor was added with odd rooflines and very low ceilings.
Designs Northwest opened up the cramped cabin to provide a fresh, functional living space that took advantage of the 180-degree view. The new house gives a nod to the original cabin, while reinventing itself through the use of creative materials and spaces.
