The house is positioned on a long, narrow piece of land between the waterfront and a drainfield on the roadside.
The house is oriented to the water with entry, living, dining, and family space flowing together. The master suite and den were designed apart from the main living area, maintaining privacy for the client even while entertaining family and friends. The second floor is devoted to guest bedrooms and divided into separate suites so that two sets of guests can visit with relative privacy. A covered deck on the waterside becomes an extension of the house, with the same framing and color scheme as the interior ceiling.
